Yes.  4 <i>weeks<\/i>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now, I know September is a busy time around a student town, I accept that.<\/p>\n<p>But <i>really<\/i>?  <\/p>\n<p>Are there really <i>so many<\/i> long-empty houses and <i>so few<\/i> BT engineers that the earliest date a bod could turn up and spend 30 minutes kroning a couple of wires is the <i>27th of September<\/i>?  <\/p>\n<p>Good grief.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately the broadband is available as soon as the physical connection&#8217;s madeOh-WAIT-A-MINUTE-No-I-Have-To-Wait-Another-5-To-7-Business-Days-For-A-Button-To-Be-Clicked-On-A-Screen.<\/p>\n<p><i>(It&#8217;s good to see Pat&#8217;s illness on Friday hasn&#8217;t removed his ability to get ignorantly wound up about unimportant things \u2013 Squage)<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>DON\u2019T INTERRUPT MY POINTLESS MOANY BLOG UPDATE, DAMNIT!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>(It\u2019s almost <\/i>too<i> easy, this\u2026 &#8211; Squage)<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Frackin\u2019 rackin\u2019 brackin\u2019,<\/p>\n<p>Pat<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday marked the &#8220;1 week til I dump some of my furniture in Brighton&#8221; milestone.
