{"id":28,"date":"2006-10-13T15:53:46","date_gmt":"2006-10-13T14:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.squage.com\/blog\/?p=28"},"modified":"2006-10-13T15:53:46","modified_gmt":"2006-10-13T14:53:46","slug":"24-days-to-go-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.squage.com\/blog\/?p=28","title":{"rendered":"24 Days To Go&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Imagine the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A big valley\n<li>6 or more big pylons around the edge of the valley\n<li>A wire extending from each pylon, connecting with all the others in the centre of the valley, several hundred feet in the air\n<li>Another wire hanging down from the connection point\n<li>A small plane-like vehicle at the bottom of the valley, with the wire connected to it\n<li>A big engine in the plane\n<li>A verticle take off\n<li>A crazy flying session all around the valley\n<li>You in the plane\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s insane sounding, isn&#8217;t it?<br \/>\nSurely something like this can&#8217;t seriously exist?<br \/>\nSurely Pat wouldn&#8217;t want to do this?<\/p>\n<p>Yes it is.<br \/>\nYes it does.<br \/>\nYes I would.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flybywire-queenstown.co.nz\">Check it out!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kinda puts the caving and bungee jumping into perspective&#8230; although to be honest I&#8217;m still most nervous about the bungee.  <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s just something about looking over the edge of a 40 foot drop, knowing that rather than stepping back from the edge I&#8217;m going to be willingly falling off it that doesn&#8217;t quite sit right with me.  <\/p>\n<p>But hey, it&#8217;s partly why I&#8217;m doing it.
